Ryan Austin

STOKESDALE - Ryan Blake Austin, 33, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Ryan was born May 7, 1984 in Guilford County to Stuart William and Laurie Ann Austin. Ryan was a member of Stokesdale Christian Church, where he served as a former Board Moderator and Deacon. Ryan was a loving son, brother, husband, and amazing father. He met his high school sweetheart at age 14. During their 10 years of marriage, they had two beautiful girls, whom he adored. Ryan loved sports - his favorites being the Tarheels and the Panthers. He loved the outdoors, riding dirt bikes and enjoyed keeping his yard and vehicles pristine. Ryan had such a loving heart and spirit and he will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Ryan was preceded in death by his mother, Laurie Ann Austin; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Ashleigh Jones Austin; two daughters, Jordan and Taylor; his father, Stuart Austin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerrell and Pam Jones; two brothers, Jason Austin (Jennifer) and David Ridge (Crystal); a sister, Audrey Hopkins (Justin); a sister-in-law Stephanie Jones; two nieces, Mia and Laurelyn; and a nephew, James.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Stokesdale Christian Church with Pastor Randy Winn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Stokesdale Christian Church, 8607 Stokesdale St, Stokesdale, NC 27357. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
