Salinda 'Cindy' Dicus Monroe

Mrs. Salinda ""Cindy"" Monroe, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 7th in Haywood County to James Perry Dicus and Meta Barefoot Dicus. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of the home, Leon Monroe; two sons, Mitch Monroe of Winston-Salem and Brent Monroe and a daughter-in-law, Susan both of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, William and Sara of Raleigh. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Chapman and Rev. Max Furr officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Meta B. Scholarship Fund, c/o Calvary Baptist Church, 5000 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
