Sallie Lawson Crouse

Mrs. Sallie Lawson Crouse, 81, passed away Friday March 1, 2024. She was born June 12, 1942, in Forsyth County to the late George and Edna Lawson. Sallie was a real go getter who enjoyed tending her garden, general yard work, creating yo-yo quilts and bulletin boards for the church, as well as putting together puzzles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers; Kenneth Lawson, Jimmy Lawson, and Jerry Lawson, a niece; Patti Jo Mabe, and a nephew Mike Lawson. Sallie is survived by her loving Husband; Carl Crouse, a daughter; Sandy Hester (Roger), two grandchildren; Austin and Aubrey Hester, two brothers; Tommy and Steve Lawson, three sisters, Bonnie Newman (Ben), Dot and Judy Lawson, a special cousin; Betty Nifong, a special friend; James Warren, also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00PM Monday March 4, 2024, at Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Wes McLeod and Rev. Craig Toth officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church general fund.
