Sally Roberts Holt, 81, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018. She was born June 19, 1936 to Hazel Harrill Roberts and Paul Wheeler Roberts. Ms. Holt was a member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church. She was a loving mother and grammy who loved to read, walk, make chicken pies at church, as well as take trips with the Funtastics church group. She volunteered at Forsyth Medical Center as a greeter for families and at The Shepherd's Center in the bookroom and at their used book sale. She spent many years volunteering at Arbor Acres on the weekends at the front desk. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Mabe (Steve) and Patti West, all of Winston-Salem; two sons, David King of Georgia and Greg King (Angie) of Belton, SC; six grandchildren, Elliot Mabe (Amanda), Sarah Katherine Mabe, Kristin West Nelson (Mike), Emily West (Marc de Labry), Angel King, Hannah King and one sister, Judy Slagle (Steve). A Family Memorial Service will be held at New Philadelphia Moravian Church with Dr. Worth Green officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to New Philadelphia Moravian Church, 4440 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
