Sally Susan Moore Anderson

Sally Susan (Moore) Anderson passed away at her home on January 29, 2026, at a young 70 years old. She was a sweet, funny, and loving friend, sister, mother, and grandmother (Gammy and GiGi to the little ones). Sally is survived by her siblings Peg, Joe, Missy, Kathy, and Jean (also Pepsi, Kim, Mark and countless nieces and nephews) from the Moore family in Ohio, daughters Kerri and Dana, son-in-law David, grandchildren Margot, Bodhi and Bellamy, and her grand-dog Bruce. We all miss her very much.

Her laugh was contagious, she was known to be sassy, and if you needed anything at all — day or night — she was there for you.

Since her retirement, she filled her days with reading and loved to bake, sew, crochet, and craft. Sally will always be remembered for how she could spark up a conversation with anyone, being a spunky neighbor, tossing confetti at the Bradford Pumpkin Show, and having the world’s greatest flamingo collection.

We know she’s excited to reunite in the great unknown with her fur babies Bailey and Shelby, her parents Robert and Norma, and her late siblings Mary, Tom, and Ann. We hope she’s dancing to Rod Stewart or the Mavericks as she watches over us.

A Gathering of Friends will be held on Friday, February 20 from 4-6pm at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home located at 3950 Macy Grove Rd., Kernersville, NC 27284.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made in Sally’s honor to American Heart Association or to a local animal shelter.
