Salvatore Anthony Pappalardo

Salvatore Pappalardo went home to be with Christ on September 25, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist hospital in Winston Salem, NC at the age of 82. He was born November 28, 1933 in Torrington CT to Anthony and Matilda Pappalardo.
He is survived by his wife Debbie, daughters Kim (and Don) Johnson, Sandy Pappalardo, step sons Steve (and Stacy) Miley, Michael (and Rocio) Miley; one brother Robert (and Carol) Pappalardo and five step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Pappalardo. He was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church, Rural Hall, NC.
He served his country in the Army as member of the Army band from 1953-1954. He enjoyed playing the trumpet, listening to jazz but the his greatest joy was his step grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held October 1st at Kingswood United Methodist Church in Rural Hall, NC at 11am. Visitation will be from 10am at the church prior to service.
