Samuel Monroe Lineback, 89 of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2014 and went to live with his Lord and Savior for eternity. Mr. Lineback was born to the late Gilbert Monroe and Eddie Marshall Lineback, September 9, 1924. Samuel was a WWII Army Veteran and was retired from Hanes Hosiery. He loved the outdoors especially working in his garden. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown for 62 years and worked in the bus ministry as long as his health permitted. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beulah Roberts Lineback and an infant daughter, Sandra Kay Lineback. He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Lineback Mustin (Von); sons, Samuel Thomas ""Tom"" (Donna), and Phillip Wayne (Melody); grandchildren, Pamela, Sandra, Tiffany, Rebecca, Adam, and Matthew; great grandchildren, Dylan, Garrett, Britten, Brayden and Malachi. Visitation will be Monday, February 17, 2014 from 10:30-11:30 AM at Gospel Light Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 12 Noon, officiated by Dr. Bobby Roberson, Bro. Frank Shumate, and Bro. Tim Hicks. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care Center for the loving and compassionate care shown to our family.
