Sandra Cobbler

Mrs. Sandra Kay Mathis Cobbler, 75, passed away November 22, 2017 at her home. She was born March 10, 1942 to the late Turner William Mathis and Mamie Irene Lashmit Mathis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Arland Cobbler in 2012. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Lynn Cobbler and two brothers and a sister. She was a member of Benefit Holiness Church. Mrs. Cobbler retired from Forsyth Medical Center with 29 ½ years of service. She is survived by her two sons, Richard Cobbler (Angela) and David Cobbler; a daughter, Penny Cobbler and 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday at the funeral home.
