Sandra Harris

Sandra "Sandie" Harris of Advance passed away on January 28, 2018. Sandie was born November 5, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles and Peggy Harris. She graduated from Richfield High School, Waco, TX in 1975 and obtained a B.S. degree (Cum Laude) from North Carolina State University. She was attending the University of Texas at Austin where she met her true love, David Moore. Sandie enjoyed life and especially loved music, dance, and chocolate. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Harris. Surviving are her husband, David Moore; her mother, Peggy Harris of Waco, TX; her brother, Charles Harris of Raleigh NC; and her niece, Danielle Harris of Asheville NC. Sandie's family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. The family would like to thank all the staff of Hospice & Palliative Care Center and Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care for the incredible care and support they provided.
