Sandra Long

Ms. Sandra Gayle Boles Long, 67, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019. She was born in Forsyth County on August 21, 1952, to the late Reuben and Odrie Hutchins Boles.

Ms. Long was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from US Air with thirty-two years of loyal service. Ms. Long enjoyed going to the beach and working in her garden. Most importantly, she was a loving mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed.

Preceding her in death are her parents, a son, Brian Christopher Haga, and a brother, Larry Boles. Surviving are a daughter, Tonya Mock of Lexington; three grandchildren: Courtney, Ryleigh, and Ally; a great-granddaughter, Emori; and two brothers: Terry Boles and Wayne Boles and wife Toby, all of Wallburg.

The family would like to thank Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center AHF Transplant Team for all of their outstanding care and support.

A memorial service will be conducted in her honor 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, officiated by Pastor Doug Klein. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.Hayworth-Miller.com.
