Sara Boyles

Kernersville - Sara “Kathryn” Hampton Boyles, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019 at her residence. Kathryn was born on November 3, 1942 in Forsyth County to Clyde Franklin and Opal George Hampton. She loved her church family and was a faithful member of Union Cross Moravian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Kathryn was the best and most loving help mate that her husband, Wayne could ever have asked for. She was one of the most selfless people you would ever meet. Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Wayne Boyles; daughter, Lisa Willard (Scott); two sons, Larry Boyles (Angie) and Travis Boyles (Ashley); five grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Vince, Zane and Jake; and six great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Kathryn will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Union Cross Moravian Church with Rev. Russ Williams officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
