Sara Elizabeth Graves Shore

Sara Elizabeth Graves Shore, 102, of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Mrs. Shore was born March 14, 1924, in Forsyth County, to Ray McCollum Graves and Mattie Snyder Graves. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. Sara enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy was sharing the Lord with whomever she met. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Shore Sr.; and her brother, Ray Graves.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, James “Jim” Shore (Barbara), and Henry “Hank” Shore Jr. (Mary); one daughter, Martha “Marty” Lantelme (Bruce); five grandchildren, Hunter (Katie), Anderson (Kerri), Grace, Adam (Mandy), and Zachary (Anna); eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Johnny Graves.

No formal services will be held at this time.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Mallard Ridge Assisted Living for the excellent care and support they provided.
