Sarah Carr Sanders

Kernersville- Sarah Carr Sanders, 88, died Saturday, March 8, 2014. She was born May 23, 1925 in Williamson County, Tennessee to the late Joe Carr and Lera Morton Carr.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Larry B Sanders, Jr.

Surviving are her husband of over 70 years, Larry B Sanders; two daughters Martha Matthews of Greensboro and Brenda Sink of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister Joan Moran.

A private family graveside will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
