SCPO Danny Ray Hannah, U.S.N. (ret.), 73, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  He was born June 3, 1946 in Adrian, Michigan, the son of Andrew and Icie Anderson Hannah.  He was a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, serving his country in Vietnam. A member of Stuart Presbyterian Church, he served as a Stephen’s Minister, an Elder and a Deacon. Dan was also a member of the Masonic Order.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid political enthusiast.  He was a kind, caring and loving person; who was funny, but was “matter of fact” when it came to serious issues.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepson, Justin Sheets and his siblings, Lois, Dick, Barbara and Bud.  Survivors include his wife, Betsy Hannah; his children, Russell Hannah and companion, Stacy Armentrout of Christiansburg, VA., Sonia Beach and husband, Daniel of Jacksonville, FL., Steven Hannah of Plainville, IN., Stacy Hannah of Florida and Danny Vincent of California; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a special daughter, Lisa Hoover and husband, Michael of Clemmons, NC.  Funeral services are incomplete.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Hannah Family
