Mr. Seabon Leroy Cornatzer, 89, died on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Accordius Health of Clemmons. Seabon was born in Davie county on November 14, 1930, to Jinnie Myers and Walter Thurman Cornatzer. Many of his friends would gather on Saturday and Sunday at his garage that was fondly referred to as the “Liars Club” where they would conversate and share embellished tales. Above all Seabon was a devoted husband and beloved son and brother. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his adoring wife, Lois Holder Cornatzer; brother, Joe Cornatzer; sister, Betty Shore; half-sisters, Helen Snipes and Evelyn White; two nephews, and a niece. Surviving are two brothers, Thurman Cornatzer and Connie Cornatzer (wife Arlene); sisters, Mildred Carter, Ruby Potts, Gean Livengood (husband Bill), and Jane Saunders; and 16 nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Interment will follow at Advance United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Hospice Palliative Care for their support during this difficult time.
