Selma Angel

Mrs. Selma Vass Angel, 91, Passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at her home. She was born in Carroll Co., VA on September 14, 1927 the daughter of the late James Robert Vass and Blanche Stockner Vass. Mrs. Angel was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Warren Angel. She is survived by a daughter, Lynn Angel Vernon; two sons, Don Angel and Kenneth Dale Angel; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Word of God Baptist Church with Rev. J.K. Faries officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the church. Private burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens in Mt. Airy.
