Shari Lynn Simon Nelson

Mrs. Shari Lynn Simon Nelson, 74, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at her residence. She was born July 20, 1951, in Pensacola, FL., the daughter of Keith and Grace Price Simon. Shari was a member of Linville Forest Church of Christ and enjoyed knitting and singing. She had a good sense of humor; she was outgoing and was friendly to everyone that knew her. Devoted to her family, Shari is preceded in death by her parents and an infant son. Survivors include her husband, Bob Nelson; three children, Jim Nelson of Winston-Salem, Brian Nelson (Kady) of Winston-Salem and Simon Nelson of Sarasota, FL.; five grandchildren, Ambria Masters (Jack), Christopher Nelson, Tre Everhart, Lily Nelson and Emmett Nelson; four great grandchildren, John, May, Jeremiah and Emory ; a brother, William Simon of Oak Ridge, TN and a sister Charlene Heil of Smyrna, TN. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Linville Forest Church of Christ. Inurnment will be private. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
