Shawn Stevenson Ingram

Mr. Shawn Stevenson Ingram, 54, passed away on August 27, 2024, at his home in Surry County. He was born on April 23, 1970, in New Brighton, Pennsylvania to Sherry Brown Duncan and Ronald Stevenson Ingram. Shawn followed in his grandfather and father’s footsteps and became an electrician, which he did for 20 years. He loved his dog, fishing, and tinkering with motorcycles. Shawn was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jim Duncan, one son, Silas Young, two brothers; Ronald Ingram (Martina), and Samuel Duncan, one sister, Sonya Reich (Daren), two nieces; Jamie Ingram and Kayla Purkey, two nephews; Seth Christian and Mason Reich, one uncle, Steve Brown (Margie), two aunts; Belle Hall and Wanda Rogers, three cousins; Deborah Adams, Sandra Solomon, and Roy Rogers, and his best friend, Jason Martin. Shawn had many friends and was liked by everyone. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday September 7, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church in King with Pastor Kevin Broyhill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
