Shirley Gallop

Mrs. Shirley Ann Helmstetler Gallop, 58, of Walnut Cove passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1960 in Thomasville, the daughter of the late, Elmer and Nannie Ruth Flippin Helmsteler. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gallop. She is survived by 5 children, Eric and wife, April, Josh, Lisa and husband, Leon, Jason, and Nick and wife, Kristen; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 6:00 PM.
