Shirley Livingston Hale

        Mrs. Shirley Louise Livingston Hale, 74, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at her home. She was born May 17, 1951 in Forsyth County. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Gwen Livingston and Ina Mae Norman Livingston; her husband, Eddie Hale, Sr.; a granddaughter, Gentry Hale and a sister, Linda Patterson. Surviving are two sons, Eddie “Butch” Hale, Jr. (Becky) and Jason Hale (Erica); five grandchildren, Ashley Hale, Alexis Hale, Samuel Hale, Levi Hale and Lennox Hale; one sister, Lorene Hodges; a lifelong friend, Judy Doss and many other beloved family members. 

        A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jay Boyce officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the Hale family.
