Shirley Lee Moore

Winston-Salem-Mrs. Shirley Lee Moore, 81, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born September 9, 1935 in Forsyth County, the daughter of Elbert and Lola Shook Puckett. She was retired from Hanes and Kaiser-Roth, enjoyed puzzles, fishing and reading. A strong-willed person, she was a hard worker. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bobby Moore. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Ellis and husband, John of Kure Beach; a sister, Barbara Hardison of Winston-Salem; a granddaughter, Mandy Ellis of Winston-Salem and two great-grandchildren, Corey Tarrant and Madelyn Whyte. A graveside service will be held 2 PM Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown with the Rev Frank Shumate officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the grave.
