Shirley Lucille Sindelar

Kernersville – Mrs. Shirley Lucille Talbert Sindelar, 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at her daughter’s residence. She was born on November 14, 1928, in Prince George County, Maryland. Shirley was a military wife for 29 years.  She loved her large family, church family, all animals, gardening, and supported Israel.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Meister Sindelar; one sister; one brother; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her four children, John “Chris” Richardson, Sherry Miller (husband, Leon), Patty Fox (husband, Billy), and Scott Sindelar (wife, Jennifer); nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one brother, Raymond Franklin Talbert

A memorial service for Shirley will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Manna Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Little officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM prior to the service at the church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
