Sondra Rae Hominsky Harbaugh

Sondra Rae Hominsky Harbaugh, 83, of Greensboro, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on April 21, 1943, to Albert and Dorothy Hominksy in Fayette County, Pennsylvania.

Sondra was a hardworking and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent her life taking care of her family. Sondra was known as “MeeMaw” to everyone who knew her. She would often open her home to any of the neighborhood children as she always had a giving heart. Sondra enjoyed spending time with her family and making the best Sunday dinners. She will be sincerely missed and cherished by all the memories she left behind.

In addition to her parents, Sondra is preceded in death by her siblings, Lois McClintock, and Kenny Hominsky.

She is survived by her loving children, Dana DeGree (Bernard), and Tim Harbaugh (Robin); grandchildren, Wally DeGree (Karina), Sean DeGree, Meagan DeGree, Shelby Harbaugh, and Wyatt Harbaugh; great-grandchildren, Tiago Ballester-DeGree; and siblings, Bunny Emerick, and Pattie Bowman.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Officiating the service is Pastor Francis Smith.
