Spencer Stone

Mr. Spencer Stone, 65, of King, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

He was born on June 7, 1961, to Rebecca Lou Sprinkle Wooley and the late Thomas Anderson Stone, V, in Forsyth County, NC.

Spencer graduated from North Davidson High School, and would go on to work a dedicated career with PepsiCo, Inc. for over 30 years. In his free time, Spencer enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Jean Stone; and his grandparents, Herman and Frances Sprinkle.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Rebecca Wooley; his siblings, Charles “Chuck” (Christy) Stone and Sheri Stone; two nephews, Andy Stone and Jarod Johanson; his special friend, Renae Hopkins; and his feline companion, Miss Kitty.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2026 in the fellowship hall of Friedberg Moravian Church.

Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Stone family.
