Stacey Wall Spainhour, 54, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County on March 29, 1972, to the late Jimmy and Sandra Winfree Wall. From an early age, Stacey was creative, energetic, and full of personality. In her youth, she enjoyed participating in the Clemmons Cowboys drill and dance team, which was coached by her mother. In 1995, Stacey married her high school sweetheart, Ricky Spainhour. Although they had been told they would not have children, they were blessed with two children, Tierra, born in 1996, and Tiegan, born in 2005. Throughout her life, Stacey wore many hats. She designed beautiful floral arrangements, made cakes for friends and family, and spent nearly two decades caring for children at Lewisville Elementary School as a nutritionist. Above all, she was her family’s number one supporter, always cheering them on in their hobbies, activities, and accomplishments. In 2018, Stacey began a long battle with kidney disease. Despite the challenges she faced, she remained a strong-willed and determined woman who loved deeply and gave so much of herself to those around her. Stacey will be remembered for her creativity, strength, love of music, passion for decorating for every holiday, and—probably most of her love of unicorns. She brought her own unique personality and magic into everything she did and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rose Winfree. Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Ricky Spainhour; daughter, Tierra Spainhour; son, Tiegan Spainhour and fiancé, Savannah; brother, David Wall and wife, Amanda; two uncles, Jack Winfree and wife, Bouying, and Douglas Winfree and wife, Patricia; two nieces, Danielle and Madison Wall; two nephews, Chris and Brycen Wall; and her father- and mother-in-law, Randy and Kathy Spainhour. A visitation will be held from 6–8 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lewisville Elementary School Food Pantry Program, 150 Lucy Lane, Lewisville, NC 27023.
