Stella Mae Tuttle Boles

Stella Mae Tuttle Boles, 95, of Pfafftown, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016. She was born in Randolph County on January 11, 1921 to Seaton and Susie Yates Tuttle. Mrs. Boles was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and was retired from Western Electric. She loved working with her flowers. She was a member of the Bible Study Group at Pleasant Hill United Methodist where she was a long time member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Boles, a brother Burl Tuttle, and two sisters Mary Fansler and Effie Marshall. She is survived by her sons, Mark Boles and wife Karen and Doug Boles wife Meredith Boles, two grandsons, Brett and Kevin Boles, and her brothers and sisters, Renzie Tuttle, Stacy Hobson, Pauline Tilley Gladys Norris, Wayne Tuttle, Roslie Collins and Max Tuttle. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Hamrick officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Lewisville Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 4691 Vienna-Dozier Road, Pfafftown, NC 27040. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Vienna Village for the outstanding and compassionate care given to Mrs. Boles for the past two and a half years.
