Stephanie Annette Kimel

Stephanie Annette Kimel, 54, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023. She was born in Winston-Salem on August 13, 1968, to Billie Cumby Kimel and the late Max Kimel, Sr. Stephanie graduated from West Forsyth High School and Forsyth Tech. She worked for more than 30 years in early childhood education. Stephanie was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. She loved reading, rescuing homemade quilts at yard sales and salvaging collectables. Stephanie enjoyed the beach and listening to music. She especially enjoyed being with her daughter, Devan. She is survived by her daughter, Devan Bull; mother, Billie Cumby Kimel; siblings, Lynn Ridenour (Steve) and Max Kimel, Jr. (Susan); aunts, Jane Bullard and Emma Cumby; many cousins, nieces and other family members. All her friends were dear to her for many years. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Sat., June 10, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
