Steven Gray Davis

Kernersville – Steven Gray Davis, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at his home. He was born on August 9, 1962, in Forsyth County to Shirley Lowe Pope and the late William Ray Davis. Steven was a strong man who enjoyed the outdoors and at any chance given, he would be fishing. He loved to sing and had such a beautiful voice that he could have sung in any quartet. Steven was a family man who was always willing to another over his own needs. He was loving father, son, brother, and uncle; his children were his pride and joy.

In addition to his father, Steven was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Davis Garcia; and his step-dad, Charles Wallace Pope (who raised and loved him as his own).

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory are his son, Dillon Davis; his daughter, Rebecca Davis; his two brothers, Scott Pope (Gina), and Mike Davis; his sister, Dianne Davis Weaver; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, October 11, 2024, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Bob Whitaker officiating. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
