Steven Thomas Gant, Sr.

Steven T. Gant, Sr. passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016. He was born November 24, 1949 in Forsyth County. Steve joined the Army as a teenager and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later worked for Westinghouse Turbine Plant for many years and was a member of Lewisville Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was his father, Keith W. Gant; a very special mother-in-law, Ruth R. Martin and a sister-in-law, Patricia McCuiston; surviving is his wife of 49 years, Linda Gant; son, Steven T. ""Tommy"" Gant, Jr. and two wonderful grandchildren, Katilyn and Christian Gant; the mother of his grandchildren, Dianne Simpson; a very special companion, ""Ghost""; also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Lalah Pettitt and Ollie Walls and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
