Steven Lawrence

Steven William Lawrence, 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 and will be deeply missed. Steve was a loving and proud father, who enjoyed the Blue Ridge Parkway, fishing at the coast, visiting historic battlefields, and spending time and enjoying a good meal with family and friends. Steve had a brilliant sense of humor and a quick wit that could always draw a laugh and smile. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Blair English Lawrence of Jamestown; father, William Floyd Lawrence of Weaverville; and ex-wife, Diane Harrison Lawrence Faust. He leaves behind a daughter, Carrie Lawrence Thomas and husband Cody; devoted friend, Shirl Ramsey; brother, Glen Lawrence; niece, April; and grandnephew, Jackson.
