Sue Pedrero

Mrs. Sue Frederick Pedrero, 76, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.  She was born March 27, 1943.  Mrs. Pedrero was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in King and resided in King, NC with her first grandchild, Garrett Pedrero and his wife Mindy Pedrero with their two children.  She proudly served her country as a Veteran of the US Navy.  Sue was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Pedrero and great-granddaughter, Willow Elizabeth.  In addition to her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, she is survived by her sister, Dorothy Shirk; children: Rusty Buchanan (Marissa) and their four children, April Pedrero and her two children, Mark Buchanan and his two children, Kirk Pedrero, Brenda Pedrero and her two children, Lara Clark (Chris) and their four children, Ron Reid, and Jill Patten (Brian) and their two children; and seven great-grandchildren.  A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, January 13th at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Kevin Broyhill and Dr. A.B. Brown officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Church Cemetery in Walnut Cove, NC.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
