Suriya Klein

Suriya Francis Klein, 56, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 24, 2025.

Born in Thailand on May 2, 1969, to Nipa and John Klein, Suriya lived a life defined by strength, compassion, and devotion to family. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and later worked for Spectrum until his retirement.

Suriya’s zest for life was contagious. He loved practicing Ju-Jitsu, break dancing, traveling, and discovering new foods. Those who knew him will remember his generous heart, boundless energy, and selfless spirit. He faced life’s challenges with courage and always put his family first.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerrold Klein.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Nipa and John Klein; his son, Alexender Klein (Rebecca); his daughter, Abbigail Gunter; his cherished grandchildren, Malakai and Elizabeth Klein; his sister, Christine Williams (Bernard); and his niece, Sarai Williams.
