Susan Elizabeth Hammond

Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Hammond, 68, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at WFU/Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Burke County on October 13, 1942 to Ned Arkell and Ruth Arlene Houk Price. She loved her cats and was a long time employee of Baptist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Ned Arkell Price. She is survived by her husband, Bill Hammond of the home; three daughters, Lisa McDonald (Roy) of Kernersville, Donna Snyder (Tim) of Winston-Salem and Sharon Setzer of Indianland, SC; three grandchildren, Drew McDonald of Kernersville, Zachary Moser of Greensboro and Cory Snyder of Winston-Salem; her mother, Ruth Arlene Houk Price of Morganton and a sister Shirley Roark of Morganton. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 6:oo PM - 8:00PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to Kate B.
