Suzanne China Fletcher

Suzanne China Fletcher, 77, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Woltz Hospice Home of Dobson. She was born to the late Eugene China and Jeanette Lavoie China on February 12, 1948, in Providence, Rhode Island.

Suzanne was a faithful member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was an incredible cook and enjoyed ice skating in her free time. Suzanne was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will forever be remembered as the selfless, happy, and always smiling woman that she was.

In addition to her parents, Suzanne is preceded in death by her brother, Maurice China.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Fletcher; daughter, Christina Matney (Bret); son, Jason Fletcher (Sara); grandchildren, Cody Matney, Caitlyn Nelson (Austin), Tanner Fletcher, and Chandler Fletcher; great-grandchild, Colson Nelson; sister, Darlene O’Keefe (John); sister-in-law, Nancy China; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, February 9, 2026, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 502 Washington Ave Suite 300, Towson, MD 21204.
