On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, Syble Annie Ellis Ring, loving mother of two children, passed away at the age of 71.
Syble, known as Annie, was born on June 11, 1948 in Chatham County to the late John and Edna Ellis. Annie married the love of her life, Henry Jefferson Ring, Jr. in 1966. They raised two daughters, Cynthia and Crystal. Annie had a passion for making crafts in her earlier years and in her later years, she was the Queen of Bingo.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry. She is survived by her two children Cynthia Teague of Walkertown and Crystal A. Gomez of Wilmington NC; Deborah Atkinson (who was like a daughter to her rather than her niece); and her grandchildren Nikki Ballenger, Cameron Ring, Chase Teague, Dakota Teague, Josh Gomez, Jacob Gomez, and Christopher Gomez; and her two brothers James Ellis and Bernice Ellis.
A small graveside service for family and close friends will be held 10:30 am Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Hickory Mountain United Methodist Church, 201 Hadley Mill Rd, Pittsboro, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be sent to Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center, 333 E Lee Ave, Yadkinville, NC 27055
