Sydney Fearrington

On August 18, 2016 Syd (bluu_eyez92) posted on Social Media the following quote: “I am homesick for a place I am not sure even exists. One where my heart is full. My body loved. And my soul understood.” ~Melissa Cox~ Her search is over.

Sydney Jane Fearrington, left this world at the young age of 27 on May 31st, 2019. She was born in Forsyth County on March 12, 1992 to Kevin Gray Fearrington and April Harper(Fearrington) Wark. Her dad, Kevin, predeceased her also at the young age of 27 when Sydney was three years old. She was also predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Beulah Harper and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and June Fearrington.

Sydney grew up in Lewisville, NC with her mother where she was crowned Miss Lewisville in 2009. Many of Sydney’s early years were spent next door to her dad’s family. Sydney graduated with the class of 2010 from Forsyth Country Day School. Syd was a Fury Varsity Cheerleader her senior year. After high school Syd’s larger than life personality took her in many vocational directions. She was currently employed by Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and Bib’s Downtown where everyone she greeted remembered her heartwarming southern charm.

Syd was a friend to everyone she knew and she loved you all. Anyone that knew her, knew her devotion to fur babies both large and small that began at a young age. She enjoyed horseback riding and was a show worthy equestrian in high school. Syd’s kindness benefited many furry friends in her short life. Her heart went out to strays and those hard to home regardless of breed, age or appearance. Sydney’s heart easily fell in love with the unlovable.

If you were friends of Syd’s on any Social Media site you knew she loved having fun and loved her mama. She will be missed by many as she is survived by her mother, April Wark and husband Paul Wark, sisters Devin and Sophia Wark, Lifelong friend Ashley Cheek, special friend Jessica Cockerham, mother to Sydney’s Godson, Austin whom she adored, her constant through thick and thin friend Tyrone Davis and so many others, too many to mention by name. Deserving of special mention, surviving Syd were her furry friends, pooches Ty, Tootsie and Ocean and one funny little Chinchilla.

Syd’s infectious smile lit up the room when she was in it. Beautiful and bold she lived life to the fullest. Sydney’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Shallowford Presbyterian Church-Fellowship Hall, located at 1200 Lewisville-Clemmons Rd, Lewisville, NC 27023.
