Sylvia Anne Harpe Jackson

Sylvia Anne Harpe Jackson, 72, ended her struggle with life and went to Heaven to be with her Heavenly Father on October 22, 2013. She was born June 21, 1941 in Elkin, North Carolina to Edith and Carl Harpe. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church for 40 years. At her previous churches she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. She made many lifelong friends when she was an Avon representative. Anne has always shown love by caring and helping others, especially Dana Smith who she always thought of as her son. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Harpe. Anne is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Jackson, Jr.; her mother, Edith Harpe; her sister, Becky Byrd (Clyde) and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Friedberg Moravian Church with the Rev. James C. Newsome, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
