Talmadge Belton Leach

Mr. Talmadge Belton Leach, 89 of Winston-Salem. God sent his Holy Angles into room 300-B at the Oaks at Forsyth at 2:55 AM Saturday morning, May 16, 2015 and escorted him to Heaven. He was born November 27, 1925 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Thomas Frank Leach, Sr. and Maude Davis Leach. Mr. Leach was a member of Marshall Baptist Church and was a retired from the Winston-Salem Police Department as Lieutenant following 27 years of service. He was a graduate of Hanes High School and served with the US Army during World War II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas F. Leach, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Jodie J. Leach also of the Oaks at Forsyth. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, May 18, 2015 at Marshall Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Holmes officiating. The arrangements are by Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
