Tamara Kindley Chase

Mrs. Tamara Kindley Blalock Chase, 81, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at her home. She was born January 9, 1943, in Cabarrus County, NC to the late William Crump “W.C.” Blalock, Jr. and Ida Katherine Kindley Blalock. Tamara loved her church and working in the church. She was an outgoing person. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her loving husband, Carl David Chase; two children, Chris Mitchell (Tina) and Tammy Caldwell (Dale); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Tony Blalock (Valeria); and one sister, Stephanie Blalock. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 3pm Sunday, August 18, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville with Rev. Dr. Virgil G. Dwyer, Jr. and Rev. Eddie Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the services at the church.
