Teresa "Faye" Anderson

Ms. Teresa “Faye” Anderson, 61, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Cone Health Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

Faye was born on May 15, 1964, in Yadkin County, NC, to Noah Guy Anderson and the late Cynthia Faye Macy Anderson.

Faye was deeply dedicated to her Baptist faith and was a longtime member of Pfafftown Baptist Church. She loved reading and studying her Bible. In recent years, although she was often unable to attend services in person, she faithfully watched and listened from home and even taught Sunday school virtually when she could not attend.

Faye had a passion for drawing and creating artwork and proudly submitted her work to the Carolina Classic Fair, where she won many ribbons over the years. She was also a devoted fan of UNC Chapel Hill sports, especially Carolina basketball. A true-blue fan her entire life, Faye rarely missed a game—even when tipoff or the final buzzer came well past her usual bedtime.

Faye was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Faye Anderson; both sets of grandparents; and other relatives, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Those left to cherish her memory include her father, Noah Guy Anderson; her brother, Randal Harrison Anderson; her sister-in-law, Melissa Quiett Anderson; her two nieces, Megan Reese Anderson and Ashlyn Brooke Anderson; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, caregivers, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Pastor John Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Ronda, NC.
