Teresa Kelly McGuire

Teresa Kelly McGuire, 68, passed away October 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kelly was born March 31, 1958, in Forsyth County to the late Dean and Gearline McGuire. She graduated from East Forsyth High School and went to work for Wachovia Bank where she retired after 32 years. Kelly became a caretaker for her mother and aunt before they passed. In addition to her parents, Kelly is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Dean McGuire. Kelly was the happiest outside in nature taking care of her beloved deer family and all of her birds.

Surviving are those who made her day and embraced her smile.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Kelly will be laid to rest at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown immediately following the service at the funeral home.
