Terry Wayne Canter

Mr. Terry Wayne Canter, 70, passed away January 10, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born October 31, 1946 in Forsyth County to the late Roy Alexander Canter and Velma Adams Canter. Terry retired from Waste Management of the Piedmont after many years of service. He loved being outdoors fishing every chance he got. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, better known as ""Paw Paw"" He will dearly be missed by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Deborah Walker Canter; son, Allen Canter; daughter, Robin C. Moses; extended family; three sons, Scot Canter (Patricia), Gary Canter (Suzanne), Lee Canter (Natasha); grandchildren, Brooke, Justin, Scotty, Danielle, Kendra, Courtney, Danielle Canter, Brianna, Skylar, Takoda, Lyric, Luka, Nate, Micah; two great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Emi; One Brother, Jay Canter (Diane); extended family, China Moore, Vetta Holly; and special family friend, Isys Peoples. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00
P.M. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Crews United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Camp officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M.
