BELEWS CREEK – Terry Ken Cardwell, 71, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center. Terry was born on December 22, 1952 in Forsyth County to Terry and Betty Jean Cardwell. He was a Veteran of the US AirForce and had a 35 year career as an owner / operator.

Terry enjoyed racing go-carts and was an avid Nascar fan.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by one brother, Tom; and a grandson, Noah.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Linda Cardwell; four children, Kenny Cardwell, Renee Cardwell (Tyler), Laura Witte (Chad), and Christopher Cardwell (LeeAnn); 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Francis Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be made to the K9s For Warriors, 114 Camp Canine Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32081.
