Terry Lee Cline

Terry Lee Cline, beloved husband, brother, brother-in-law, and dear friend, passed away at 70 years of age on August 11, 2025. Terry was a longtime resident of Winston-Salem, NC. He was born on December 21, 1954, to loving parents, Raeford and Patricia Cline. He graduated from Parkland High School in 1973 and worked for TW Garner Food Co. for many years. Terry retired from Pepsi in 2020.

On July 11, 1969, Terry symbolized his dedication to his God, Jehovah, by water baptism. He faithfully served as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a disciple of Jesus Christ until his death. He was especially proud of the two years he was able to spend as a volunteer at the New York headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

As a Christian elder for over forty years he touched the lives of his friends with mature, scriptural counsel. That guidance was shared in a respectful, loving manner.

Terry loved sports and was a lifelong Wake Forest fan. He loved his time visiting friends and especially the good times combined with good food.

Terry married Donna Hill, the love of his life, in 1980. His time in the ministry of Jehovah’s Witnesses alongside his wife, Donna, was deeply meaningful to him.

He enjoyed a special relationship with many of their nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Donna Hill Cline; his brother, Richard Cline (Jackie); and his aunt, Karen Koch.

A service for Terry will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
