Terry Cowart

Winston-Salem- Mr. Terry LeDon Cowart, 74, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice. He was born September 11, 1943 in Columbus, GA, the son of D.B. and Mary Sheffield Cowart. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Terry loved coaching Little League Baseball, loved the outdoors and enjoyed Zydeco/Cajun dancing and music. A kind, caring man, he was devoted to his family, especially his four lovely granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Sue Breeden Cowart; a son Terry Cowart (Michele) of Clemmons; two brothers Don and Joe Cowart; four granddaughters, Delaney Cowart, Katie Cowart, Sophie Cowart and Mary Grace Cowart. Services will be held in Bainbridge, GA. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B.
