Terry Douglas Charles

Mr. Terry Douglas Charles, 73, of Winston-Salem, passed away on December 21, 2023.  Terry was born in Forsyth County on July 13, 1950, to the late Henry Arthur Charles and Wanda Hill Charles.  He served his country in the United States Army.  Terry had a love for the outdoors, especially carp fishing.  Terry is survived by his former wife, Joni Charles and their two daughters, Andria Luper and Kathryn Hartley, both of Winston-Salem; and grandchildren, Chad Hartley, Daniel Luper, Cole Luper, David Luper, and Christian Luper.  A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mr. Charles.
