Terry Ray Moffitt

Terry Ray Moffitt, 72, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his home. He was born in Forsyth County on April 19, 1953, to the late John and Polly Yates Moffitt. Preceding him in death was his wife, Connie Renee Moffitt and three brothers, Bud, Jimmy, and Johnny Moffitt. Surviving is a son, Lee Moffitt (Leigh); two daughters, Tory Moffitt and Mary Seagle (Jeremy); five grandchildren, Drew Moffitt (Kayla), Cole Moffitt, Breanna Mankaryos (Logan), Trey Seagle, and Katie Seagle; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Makenley; also surviving is a brother, Wayne Moffitt (Peggy) and a sister, Suzie Bowie. A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Hope Community Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Community Church.
