Terry Lee Reid

Mr. Terry Lee Reid passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born on July 13, 1948, to the late Peggy Nelson and James Marshall Reid in Forsyth County.  Terry graduated from North Forsyth High School and has remained active with his classmates.  Preceding him in death was his parents and a brother, Richard Dale Reid.  Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Marilynn Trent Reid; stepson, Heath Cheek (Mandy); two grandchildren, Jake and Katie; also surviving is a nephew, James Reid and a niece, Erica Reid.  Terry worked at Lowes Home Improvement and more recently at Sears.   He was also an antique dealer and enjoyed many happy years at North Myrtle Beach.  Terry attended Calvary Baptist Church for many years but recently had been attending West Side Baptist Church.  

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Christa Warise officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
