RALEIGH, NC-Mr. Terry Wayne Warner, 48, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Warner was born in Forsyth County, NC on May 23, 1966 to Eddie Ray Warner, Sr. and Maxine Warner Boyles. Terry was a graduate of Parkland High School and went on to receive both a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He enjoyed both teaching and working with children. Preceding Mr. Warner in death were his paternal grandparents, A.J. and Frances Warner and maternal grandparents, John Franklin and Hazelene Steele Minton. Mr. Warner is survived by his parents, Eddie Ray Warner, Sr. and Maxine Warner Boyles, both of Winston-Salem; his brother, Eddie Ray Warner, Jr. and wife Donna of Belews Creek, NC; special friends, Roger Smith and Wanda Cox Bailey; and numerous other loving relatives. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Autism Society of North Carolina, 505 Oberlin Rd., Suite 230, Raleigh, NC 27605.
