Tha Moore Park

Ms. Tha Jane Moore Park, 84, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on January 6, 1932 in Anderson County, SC to Charles William and Gladys Bradley Moore. Mrs. Park was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Robert Park; brother, William Moore; sister, Grace Moore McCoy; nephew, William Richard Newman. She is survived by a brother, Daniel J. Park and wife Sally of Elkin; sister-in-law, Marilyn Casstevens and husband Frank of Advance; five nephews, Charles H. McCoy, Dave Newman, Eddie Newman, Barry Casstevens, and Rocky Casstevens; one niece, Paula McCoy Hayes; a caregiver, Deborah Scott. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Don Gordon officiating. Entombment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Ardmore Baptist Church, 501 Miller St, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
